Who は「だれ」という意味を表す疑問詞です。

中学英語では、

• Who is he?（彼はだれですか）
• Who are they?（彼らはだれですか）
• Who speaks English?（だれが英語を話しますか）
• Who do you like?（あなたはだれが好きですか）

のように、さまざまな形で使われます。

特に who は、「だれですか」とたずねる場合と、「だれが〜しますか」と主語になる場合で文の作り方が変わるため、多くの中学生が混乱しやすい単元です。

この記事では、Who の疑問文をSTEP形式で基礎から整理しながら、be動詞・一般動詞・三人称単数・重要表現まで順番に学習していきます。

Who is ～ ? は、「だれですか」をたずねるときの基本の形です。

be動詞を使って、

のように表します。
