【中1英語】be動詞の過去形（否定文）をわかりやすく解説｜was・wereドリル80問

この記事では、be動詞の過去形の肯定文をドリル形式で練習します。

be動詞の現在形では am / is / are を使いましたが、過去のことを表すときは was / were を使います。

中学生が最初につまずきやすいのが、「どんな主語のときに was を使い、どんな主語のときに were を使うのか」 というポイントです。

まずは wasとwere の使い分け をしっかり身につけながら、「〜でした」「〜にいました」という過去の状態や場所を表す文をたくさん練習していきましょう。

STEP1　I was not ～ の文に慣れよう

be動詞の過去形の否定文では、was not（wasn’t） を使います。

I was ～ を否定するときは、I was not ～ の形になります。

まずは「私は〜ではありませんでした」「私は〜にいませんでした」の文を練習しましょう。
